But I heard that in the US it is different to Germany. Here you are not able to get information about criminals; no photo, no name, no police documents. But I heard in the US you can look online where molesters live, who is in prison and even things like the indictment. So there has to be a way to learn more about who paid the bail. Or is it different from state to state?

you absolutely can find out who is the signatory on a bail. might even be on their online court docket. if not youd have to go to the clerk of courts locally
