the job involves a lot of physical labour and it's naturally quite unpleasant.
here in the UK council binmen get ridiculously good pay, usually a salary like £20,000-25,000 (about the same as a nurse) but they get great overtime rates, and most of them will rake in about £35,000 by the end of the year.
