I've lived in Dallas and Houston, and visit Southern California semi-frequently (although even L.A. has nothing on Dallas, in my experience.) Just came back to Helsinki from my cousins wedding in Lapua, Southern Pohjanmaa. The town was comfy and almost no people could be seen rushing or being in a hurry to somewhere. It was friendly. The town itself was covered in fields, and about 20 km outside of the city there were farms and cottages.
I wish I could have stayed there.
