I would also suggest writing from Theodor Herzl, the very leader of Zionism. I know he's Jewish, but it's still knowledge. Do you just put echoes around everything because it can be vaguely interpreted as left-wing? These authors have important things to say, especially regarding the threats our people will face in the future.

Art of war as well, but it's somewhat dated.

1984 represents control of population through fear and misinformation.

Brave New World represents control through pleasure and over-saturation of information.

Both are dystonia, people always point towards 1984 because it's just more scary, but BNW is a lot more real right now.

The best thing you can do when you want to argue politics with anyone, or even convince anyone regardless of their ideals is know them from the roots.

Why we Fight - Guillame Faye
The Communist Manifesto - Karl Marx
White Identity: Racial Consciousness in the 21st Century - Jared Taylor
Almost anything by Julius Evola (extremely spiritual, keep in mind)
The Will to Power - Friedrich Nietzsche
Also various writings by Lenin, Marx, Engels, and other communists/leftists would help in your understanding of the enemies logic. There is a difference between the New Left and the old though.

1984 and A Brave New World aren't similar, and are not supposed to be. Both do deal with complete control of the population, but they do it by completely different means. In 1984 Big Brother/the party uses fear and lies, In A Brave New World society/the world government uses pleasure and conditioning. The lies and conditioning are similar, but different.

The Bible is really interesting. The old testament is made up of mostly two things: prophecies of Jesus' coming, and Mosaic law. There are also scatterings of the nuance of God's character throughout, but mostly residing in the psalms. The new testament is more complicated. It consists of the chronicling of Jesus' life for the first four books. There are letters from Paul the apostle, and also Simon called Peter (and possibly an unknown author), written to various peoples. These letters are sometimes messages of encouragement, sometimes rebuke, and sometimes evangelistic. They are all too complicated for me to explain here. Revelation is in a class of its own. It is the vision that John the apostle saw, and is seemingly a narration of the end of days(end of the world, apocalypse, etc.).
Many people (in my opinion erroneously) disregard the old testament, since the coming of Christ changed so much. The issue is, the law (mosaic law) was created not necessarily to be followed, but to show people that they are in need of a savior (can't be perfect on their own).

>>
>>133247798
If you read Leviticus, you can see how complicated Mosaic law really is. It only makes sense if you look at it through the light that it was not supposed to be possible, but serves as a catalyst for a different idea. One of my favorite things about the old testament is how complicated it portrays God. Also, if you detest hedonism (or love it) you should give Ecclesiastes a read. It was written by King Solomon (the king of Israel from what is believed to be the mid 900s bc) who was extraordinarily wealthy, even for a king. He basically sucks everything out of life that you can, and concludes that without some other, outside purpose (God), life is meaningless. There is a preacher from Dallas, TX named Matt Chandler who does a really interesting/good series on the book.

The OT has a complicated portrayal of God because it is a composite of at least 4 different traditions within ancient Judaism. Its why God appears and is referenced by different names, with seemingly different personalities and priorities. Ecclesiastes is an excellent choice, worth while for anyone.

>>133257928
Its a good book but anyone who thinks they can (or should) just sit down and pick it up cold is on a fool's errand. This should be the absolute last thing by Nietzsche you read, after familiarizing yourself with the rest of his works. Even Ecce Homo should come before this. It is dense, weird, written in nearly Biblical prose, and self-referential from start to finish. If you don't know his work inside and out it won't make a lick of sense.

I heard good opinions of the book "Every man's battle".
I was interested because like most guys I struggle with discipline in my PMO habiys.
1/4 throught the book, I'm really disappointed. It struck me as extremely blue pilled. I can barely read through the BS. I remember it saying exactly "there is no vast conspiracy to flood us with sex" ...

What do you guys think of this book ? Did it help you ?
Perhaps I didn't resonate with the christian lingo.
Can you recommend any other books for disciplining my sexual side ? I am failing and failing time after time with no hope in sight.
>>
>>133258781
Metaphysics of sex - Evola. Not motivational per se but can change the way in which you think about it, which in its turn can do the trick

Both 1984 and Brave New World are entry level, if not pleb level because millions have read them and are constantly referenced in the mainstream.

pic related was written in 1994, and had many truthbombs that many refused to accept until they happened. To this day many of the events foreseen are still unfolding, you can see them happen in slow motion, in every news piece, predictable.

Ever since I finished this I didn't have the need to watch any news any more, it gave me the correct filter to understand what's happening in the world, the big trends that are happening right now and have been for decades and centuries.

Eh, I have mixed feelings about this book. Hes not wrong, I just get the feeling that every time he is about to really sink his teeth into the subject matter, he backpedals and makes it safe for mass consumption. He won't pull the trigger. This is Oprah's Book Club level pseudo-zen.

Richard Morgan crafts a cool idea of the future but he's very bluepilled.

Black Man is cool in concept and even in execution but there's no getting away from that blatant pseudo-SJW shit. definitely worth a read, tho

the kovacs trilogy is just pure based, however

Black Man felt self consored imo. The direction it goes in doesnt feel natural.

Market forces is pretty damning on the concept of globalidm and redpilled on the eventual outcome. Also it attacks socialist ideologuery and utopianism at the same time. Remeniscent of snow crash but much more brutal and glorious.

Marxism leads to fascism. Hayek is against coercive government. That being said, he does state explicitly, if individuals were allowed to be sufficiently free from government coercion, and if the free market were facilitated, it would not matter a great deal if the country were led by a dictator (one would more accurately call this a benevolent dictator or a democratic process.

The key aspect is that people are free to do what they wish economically.

Try audiobooks. There's no deadline for reading anything. If you make it through one book a year, you're still well ahead of the curve. Don't beat yourself up too much.

It's incredibly complex. What do you have questions on?

I can't spoiler here, so if you faggots don't want something spoiled then move on.

It's actually a time-travel story. There are at least 5 Severians we can reliably track in the narrative:

>Apu-Panchu
>The Conciliator
>Severian the Narrator
>Autaurch Severian
>World-Destroyer Severian/New Sun Severian (He causes a flood which virtually wipes out all of human life when he brings the New Sun back to the Milky Way via mass gravitational shifts...Remember the Green Man? That guys from the future Urth).
Some claim there are 7.

The story is a complex commentary on history, culture, mythology, religion, and ultimately mankinds salvation, as understood through Catholic Eschatology.

Severian keeps coming back because he never gets to fully redeem humanity, so he has to keep going back. Hence the conversation with the Hierodules towards the end of The Sword of the Lictor where they tell him they have met him before. (remember, they travel backwards in time, so it's their last time meeting Severian but Sererian's first time meeting them).

Like I said. It's very complex. What, specifically, do you want to know about it?
