He tried to get rid of Jews because they completely controlled Germany at the time and were turning it into a communist shit hole. Many refused to leave so he rounded them up in concentration camps and was probably planning on moving them to Israel once the war was over. Many died of typhus in the camps so they began shaving their heads and zkylon-b-ing their clothes in mini-gas chambers to kill off any lice. It probably reduced the number of people who died. Then there was mass starvation in Germany due to the allied bombing campaigns and of course the people in the concentration camps were hit the hardest, so obviously many were also starving there. Hitler probably just wanted to get rid of the communists and jews and to establish his empire and secure domination of a several surrounding regions so he could have a leg up in his future empire. He lost because he bit off more than he could chew.

My father was in the Hitler Youth and used to camp outside Stutthof during the war. It was NOT a death camp. There is no evidence for it whatsoever. It was a Concentration Camp for Polish partisan prisoners from Danzig and the surrounding area. Some were Jews also, but only incidentally so.
