fuck this shit, give me one reason to go back to being a NEET and get on welfare. I wish bernie won. I just want to kms

Its not too late to get on neetbux.
Protip, children bring in more neetbux and you have someone to play video game with.

You listed another option that you could follow.

You adjust, I did construction for 6 years and eventually got used to it. Sure you work like a dog but after about a year working hard labor promotions come in because people quit so quickly.
I started making 14/h and ended at 19, learned valuable skills too.
>>
>>133191076
> its in a manufacturing shop
That's where I started too before moving into the trades proper. Yeah, it's a really shitty job and all you can do is take whatever cash and experience you get from it and use it as a springboard to get something better.

Also sounds like your facility is disobeying basic safety regulations too.
>>
>>133191076
Well OP, now that you have some experience working reliably in dangerous conditions and have at least 2 or 3 people from your current job who you can put down as references, you can work towards a better job that pays better under better conditions.

More places will trust you now that they know that you can hold down a job(and a stressful one at that) so you have more power in the job search. Keep getting better jobs until you get one that you could tolerate long-term and try to get a comfortable position there.

A lot of people are content with giving up in your position, or settling for that job for the rest of their lives. You can be better than that and continue to reaching for better opportunities.
>>
>>133191524
that and go to the ER saying youre suicidal. if they dont believe you start punching yourself and screaming. Thatll probably seal the deal but dont break character

one of the benefits to this is "Getting ifred" form jobs that youre taking to "attempt to fit in and get better" and quitting in meme worthy ways. I recommend shitting on or near the desk of the manager.

When youre home you can then bond of God and vidya with your "atutistic" sons who further rake in the neetbux .

How long have you had the job?

Your body will adjust to the physical strains - easily inside of a month. The fumes and sound issues? Your body will adjust to them too, by going deaf and getting lung cancer. So dont' stand for that. There's a timeline where you get compensation - consider that.

Your average grunt job is completely unbearable for many people if you don't have some kind of support system, and/or a MEANINGFUL reason to keep showing up everyday - like a family; or, if you have a PLAN of some kind to one day NOT have to work there.

I love them. Their 'life' is a fucking joke. You can't help but think about them and laugh. They have almost ZERO time to do anything that they actually want to do. It's amazing that people can actually live like that. Their ultimate goal is to 'retire' and just sit around as an old fart doing fuck all, when they could have done that to begin with.
>>
>>133193296
Umm no it wouldn't. If he didn't need any education to get the job then it would pay around $15/h here, which is even less because leafbux. If it's a highly sought after profession then sure maybe you could be making in that range.

I'm not in a union and make $34/hr (although the industry, telecommunications, does have a union, so that may put some pressure on them to offer competitive pay and benefits).

I'd imagine most manufacturing jobs are pretty grueling and shitty, regardless of whether you're in a union or not.

Kind of concerning if OP's employer isn't offering them ear protection and other PPE, though. That's not even a union thing, it's just an OSHA violation.

I worked manufacturing once (unionized), had breaks out the ass, benefits, and a more than adequate wage, the job was safe too. Those were the reasons I even kept working there in the first place, if they didn't even provide fucking earplugs I'd have left after the first day, I don't understand how any manufacturing job can keep employees without offering anything at all beyond a Walmart job, just work at Walmart, it's easier.

Maybe on your probation period or something, manufacturing tends to offer around at least $20/hr here in Ontario, my aunt has been in manufacturing for years and makes $30+/hr with great benefits.

The work is shit but that is exactly why they tend to pay more.
>>
>>133191076
>> tfw right to work state so no unions
So what you want is a union whose interests are absolutely different from yours? Unions don't benefit the working class anymore. In fact, many unions lobby for democratic policies, such as increased immigration to fill slots in the union in order to generate revenue via union dues. A union in line with the workers would be AGAINST immigration so that the workers have increased leverage against their employers.
>>
>>133194309

Maybe need to wear ear plugs as well as muffs to increase noise attenuation? Just sound sketch to me if you're not exaggerating about the hearing loss thing. I'd think OSHA would require noise to be reduced to a level where hearing loss would not occur (not just using PPE, but engineering controls as well, such as sound absorption/barriers, positioning workers further away from the machinery and noise, etc.). But admittedly I've never worked in a factory, so may not have a clue what I'm talking about.

Weight lifting helps, it builds up your skeletal muscles and stabilizer muscles, which helps you keep your spine and knees strait under heavy loads.
The key is to lift with your spine and knees at the correct angles, and never off camber.

It's very common down here in the south. I was a steel worker at a non union shop for a year before I went union. 14 hour days and Saturdays were the norm for most guys. Welders usually only did 10.

It sucks balls, but I don't know any other place a non skilled laberor can make bank. They started at 12.50 and I finished at 18. Most new guys had no to little experience, hence why we had to work 14s to get jobs done on time.

>>133191076

Hang in there anon. I worked warehouse jobs for years before beating the system. I think I have permanent lower back pain, but it was worth it in the end.

You need to build your credit score. This will take years of hard work and you will live an undignified life - believe me, I fucking did it and I fucking survived. When your credit score is >700 and you are >25 yrs old, go to college on federal need-based subsidized and un-subsidized student loans.

You do not need to go to a good college, just a cheap one. Now you can live it up. Quit your job, max out your loans every semester and take summer school. Apply for food stamps and unemployment benefits. Unless things have changed, this should be enough to cover school, rent, car payments, insurance, drugs, cigarettes and alcohol.

Do this for years. Get your bachelors and go for masters. Get your masters and go for a PhD. The US education system is so fucked that any idiot with half a brain can get a PhD in something.

At some point, you will want to get a fuckton of credit cards. To build your credit, you should already have multiple lines of credit with several years of perfect history. When you decide the time is right, apply for dozens of instant-approval credit cards ONLINE AT THE EXACT SAME TIME. Remember to always put your income as over 100,000/year.

You should now have tens of thousands of dollars of open credit. Just before you graduate, spend it all. I bought an entire household of brand new shit and went on a drug-fueled cross-country rampage of "vacations". Get a cushy PhD-level job overseas, put all your new shit on a pallet and move there permanently. Your debt will not follow you across international borders. They cannot take your PhD away. They cannot revoke your passport. You are finally free.

You can even go back every year, like I do, on "vacation".

Plenty of jobs exist that guarantee those things without a union, simply because they want quality workers to keep up production.

Python's a great language to start with.
But languages are just tools, lad. You should be asking yourself what field of software you want to be doing (embedded, sys dev, enterprise software, web dev, mobile, data science) and learn the language most used for that.

For example enterprise is C# and Java, sys dev is C and C++, mobile is Java and Swift etc.

you know he can just quit? yeah he's really fighting for his rights over here... it would be much better if everyone was living in a communist dystopia with no motivation to produce anything, and where bread was first come first serve at the grocery store

our society allows for us to make money other ways such as through investment portfolios and entrepreneurship. it is so incredibly easy, too. i have seen people buy alibaba junk in bulk, pick it up at the port, bring it back home, add their little brand stamp to it and sell it on online grey markets like amazon for a significantly marked up price. people with certain skills can also utilize them through freelance contract work - i have seen teenagers sell their very basic, juvenile level design skills to other teenagers to make maps for them in kids games.

you are nothing but waste sitting around whining about all the opportunities you had but didn't take, thinking the solution is total restructuring of the system itself

>investment portfolios and entrepreneurship
You need capital to make capital. Meaning OP has to wageslave away for several decades to accumulate enough capital and even then it's not likely his small business will succeed competing with all these big established industries of scale and experience.

Exactly. Take these poor south koreans for example. nice strawman. your victimized people are working harder, not smarter. i can't tell you how to have ingenuity or drive to make your own opportunities that are absolutely everywhere today. what, it's too hard to learn wood working and buy lumber to make your rustic furniture to sell to rich hipsters for absurd prices? guess that's the fault of capitalism huh. there's a reason monkeys work at mcdonalds all their lives and it most certainly is not because of capitalism

Neetbux is slave wage tier money, my friend is on unemployment and only gets $350 weekly and oh, you have to pay taxes on that since its "income". It only last like 19 weeks anyway.

Most people working "professional" jobs have it much better off since id wager 75% of folks dont do more than a few hours of work per day. Sure you might make more drilling oil in Alaska but fuck that hard work when you can sit in an air conditioned office and do almost nothing for $40k-100K a year.

You know it's not normal to start on the middle rung of a ladder, right?

1. Job was a literal hellhole
2. Second literal heaven

Both descriped/titled the same. You have to have luck. I know a guy who loves his job cause everything about it is good: pay, co-workers, respect, h/week, benefits, ease of it etc.

Than there is this other guy where his boss consumes openly cocaine in front of everyone else, constantly yells at people and fires on average 1 person per week (or they just leave voluntarily) company info: https://www.kununu.com/de/impulsa-jaeger-sohn

LUCK is a big big big big ass factor that separates shit tier from pro tier.

Like Ronnie Coleman said "Everyone wants to be huge but ain't nobody want to lift no heavy ass weights"
You want success in this world you have to work for it ... and then also be a little lucky. Nobody's going to give that shit to you.

You have a shitty job? You don't qualify for anything because you don't have any skills? Do something about it then.

This is a hustlers world. If you don't hustle harder than the guy best to you, you won't get anywhere. People in big cities understand this. I worked at one that was supposed to be 40 hours a week. After the first two weeks, they pretty much made me stay 12 hours a day, monday-friday, 6am-6pm. Plus, 2-3 weekends a month, they would make me work 6am-2pm. (my "easy" day of only 8 hours.) Basically, this meant I had about 2-4 days off a month, sometimes going 21 days in a row working, 60-72 hours a week. Plus I took a bus to work which added another hour each way, so my schedule was more like, get up 4:30am, get home around 7pm, be in bed in an hour because so exhausted and need every second of sleep I can get.

I did this for 6 months, and then quit. Been a NEET for last 2 years ever since.

Poor parents aren't all bad especially if they have steady (wage-tier) work. My mom worked about 30 years (nothing to show for it though) and my dad still works. But my point is, my parents are kind, God-fearing people with good morals so life didn't suck too bad.
