The stuff Guccifer2 released was mostly stuff that made leaking look irresponsible with personal information and the like. The DNC e-mails talking about screwing over Sanders and other scandals came from Wikileaks, this presumably being what Seth Rich would have leaked. I repeat: G2 was meant to discredit Seth Rich and Wikileaks, according to Adam Carter's analysis.

Why is this important? Well, the \langfe1049 portion is a setting saying that Russian language should be used as the default language for the document.
Had Фeликc Эдмyндoвич been setting the "watermark," it would be the same across all documents. But instead, distinct watermarks were created for each document creator, suggesting inconsistent application or three different creators applying their own watermark.
In other words, document creators set the document properties to use Russian language and created three distinct so-called 'watermarks' in doing so, not 'Фeликc Эдмyндoвич.'
Also, cross-reference to Wikileaks shows that Warren Flood did not author any of the documents. And given that the timestamps are all on June 15th, this is the sequence of events:
A worker using a computer registered to Warren Flood opens a DNC document, copies it, and pastes it as a new document to his computer.
A worker using a computer registered to Warren Flood sets the theme language to Russian in some way (this process is different for all authors).
A worker using a computer registered to Warren Flood modifies the document's author to Фeликc Эдмyндoвич.
The modified document is then uploaded to the Guccifer website and publicly published a short time thereafter.
Impact of Guccifer 2.0 being a DNC creation
The "Russian influenced the US election" campaign all started from the DNC leak.
Allegations of Russian influence was built on a completely fabricated foundation of lies.

Who cares why the DNC did it?
Because it proves that "Russian interference" started as a total DNC fabrication that persists to today. The whole Russian campaign started before Trump made his infamous joke about Russians getting Hillary’s emails.
Illegal unmasking of Trump campaign officials over Russian interference began June 2016. Was this predicated on Russian interference with the DNC hacks? Why did DNC leak their own documents?

How did the DNC know Wikileaks was going to release the DNC emails?

Also, even if true the assumption that the 23 MB/s transfer speed means it had to be copied locally to USB is false. Romania might be a shit country, but they have fast Internet which is easily verifiable from many sources online. It is entirely possible to transfer files from the kind of commercial Internet connection the email server has to a high end consumer connection or commercial connection in Romania.
The "analysis" is poorly done misinformation. At its very best, the entire thing relies on unverifiable information. Taken at face value with all available facts, it supports the Russian hacking narrative.

The last project I worked on, we installed 10 Gbp/s NICs to connect to the Internet because the link we were given for the servers was around 3 Gbp/s. That wasn't even the highest pipe we could get, it was just the most reasonable one.

And that project wasn't even that big or expensive.

That's not necessarily true in the least. It's extremely common to get a root that isn't joe blow's home router.
And you don't need to be a hacker to get one. All you need to do is know somebody who's willing to let you borrow one or trade one. I had a few friends once who barely even qualify as script kiddies collaborate on something of a clever setup that got them in to a few hundred 1Gbps+ boxes.
And then you can fence the data back to yourself by whatever means and rate you care to use once you'd yanked it off the target.
