Nonsense. Time to build our own internet. With blackjack. And seksy trap hookers.
>>
>>133120850
Your source connection will remain slow anyway, because they will make the baseline slow while boosting it for (((those))) who pay

Also you wont be able to post on 4chan because racism is evil and no ISP can support racism (unless you pay the premium gold package of $100 per month which allows you to unlock all sites)

I thought it was the Trump administration that resurrected this policy.

Bump. That's fuckin bullshit.

On another note, word is that some big companies are flooding YouTube with bizarre videos that borderline victimize children. The reason is that they will use this as evidence of what children have access to on the Internet, and for that reason the Internet needs to be regulated by our governments. It seems to be an extension of the 'fake news YouTube advertiser pullout' argument for regulation. This shit is all being staged though. Stay vigilant, anons. Don't give into Internet regulation, fight that shit tooth and nail.
>>
>>133122490

does hidemyass allow you to post onchan?
>>
If they want to kill net nuetrality fine, however then they must make it illegal for an ISP to have ownership of a town/cities connection. That way kike ISPs like comcast and time warner will get BTFO by google.
>>
>>133122814
This guy is dumb. Good vpns are cryptostorm Nord and ghost vpn. Vpn is a tool to bypass sureveillance and censorship
>>

And most Vpns will be blocked by 4chan but you can bypass it with 4chan pass.

>>
>>133123654
That is how I used HMA back in the days. If he wants to know how VPNs work he can google it.

Also, yeah, your internet will be slowed down, but for Brits it will either be that or no 4chan.
>>
>>133120668
I just saw this on the BBC, and it's retarded.

I work in IT and don't support net neutrality at all, ISPs are just businesses like any other, they have operating costs and customers who pay varying amounts for varying levels of access to content.

ISPs already traffic shaping and have done for years, in the UK a lot of different ISPs will actually tell you in their ToS what they throttle in terms of packet types or port ranges, and during which times of the day. They do so because what they're selling is a shared service, your bandwidth is contended against other customers on the same pipe as you, if you all download a lot at the same time then everyone gets shit speeds. broadband was originally designed in this way to be "bursty" which means you get short bursts of high data rate, and that way many different people can all share the same dedicated chunk of bandwidth.

They do that to make broadband affordable to residential users, because bandwidth is actually very expensive to provision. If you want to know just how expensive, go and look up dedicated leased lines where you get all of the bandwidth to yourself.

We pay £850 Ex VAT per month at work for 200mbit lit up across a 1Gb bearer, where as I pay about £45 at home for 200mbit, the difference is that at home I share that pipe with many other users to get the price down to £45 Inc VAT

Allowing for net neutrality is stupid, it'd be like forcing everyone to get an £850 internet connection just things are "fair".

What stops a single ISP charging whatever they like is COMPETITON, capitalism drives down the cost of goods and services so profit margins are nominal.
>>
>>133124021
You're encrypting your data and having another service be your "isp"
>>

there is no competition among ISPs in many parts of the country, retard, which has already led to them imposing low data caps and much higher prices than other regions
with big barriers to entry and a loosely distributed population there aren't many people willing to invest in trying, either

Companies will popup to compete with the already established ISPs. I have Boost mobile for my phone and its just as good as any other provider around me, plus for only $45 I get unlimited data with no caps. I used 62gig last month and never saw a slow down. I think Verizon has a 5gig plan for $50/mth, which would you choose? Same stuff will pop up with ISPs.

Yeah, market pressure on monopolists.

This, people in rural towns even with a decent population get dicked because there is usually only one or two isps in town.

The real matter at hand is this drive for censorship that individuals, companies, ISPs, and governments are all perpetrating, whether out of fear or protecting its profiteering. They just can't leave us alone.

The faggot post the same thread everyday. I wonder if he is paid for it or if he does it for free like the good goyim he is.

The public psyop "blackout" campaign the Silicon Giants conducted seems to have worked insanely well. Dumbasses are out to hang their ISPs, but don't bat an eye at these companies selling their Data, and just generally using them as "products" instead of customers.

it will
get mullvad or rent a romanian vps and set up openvpn on it
encrypts your traffic between your computer and the vpn server
isp cant see shit and you effectively use your vpn's ip on the net (like a proxy)
that way you can bypass region locks (if your vpn is in the required country) and isp restrictions

>trading one set of shackles for the other
Like I said. One of the most successful psyops in recent times.
Only a literal retard would think that the ISPs should be banned from participating in the Data market. Want to know why the Silicon Giants don't want that? Because all of the data they sell is transferred over ISP lines. If the ISPs move into the market, the Silicon Giants have to rethink their approach to Data selling, and the market will become less lucrative.

So of course, being giant corporations, they decide it is better to lobby their local corrupt politicians to push for a legal remedy to this issue. That you think they are any different from the ISPs (business wise) just shows how retarded and naive you are.
