So far Jupiter's magnetic field gave chaotic compass readings, as though it had no core.
The compass will probably be extra chaotic over the eye.

This, most flat earthers tend to use smaller spheres, like that is comparable to the slight curve we experience over a larger sphere, which causes the bottom to disappear first.

For note of how minor the curve is, for every 100 miles or 160.9 km, the earth has only curved about 8 inches or 20cm

Do you know what Refraction is?

Refraction is what happened in the Bedford Level Experiment, where the ship is viewable past the curve of the earth. This is because the water reflects the light above it and thus it can be seen above the horizon. This is what is happening here. The sun behind the island is being refracted, you are seeing the light reflected off the water, not the actual sun.

A cursory glance into the night sky says you're wrong. The human eye has a limit on how bright of an object it can perceive, not on the distance.
>>
>>133140595
This is the same exact reason. That image of the city is being refracted. Flat Earthers can not argue this fact and for the most part ignore it because of how many holes it pokes into your belief.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Atmospheric_refraction

This has the math behind it and an explanation so you can learn why you can see such things beyond the curve of the Earth, and why it does not prove your theory that the Earth is flat.

Well, your wrong Anon. We aren't actually seeing those objects. We are seeing the light being emitted from those objects as they reach our retinas. I half-believe that the eye of jupiter (and other jovian storm systems, for that matter) is a self propagation living entity. By all means, it would be an extremely unconventional definition of life. But if a wind system were capable of imposing memetic properties on its environment, then it would be capable of replication and evolution.

I think its feasible that a constantly running chaotic environment like Jupiters could develop something "organized", and the GRS is the best place to search.
>>
>>133123333

>>
>>133140993
>you can zoom in on them with a camera
This video depicts unfocusing your lens, not "zooming in." Having personally used a 12.5" reflector telescope at a very high magnification with a focal length longer than I am tall, I can assure you that neither my telescope nor your "camera" can zoom in on any stars (aside from our own Sun) enough to resolve them to discs.

>>133141085
>We aren't actually seeing those objects. We are seeing the light being emitted from those objects as they reach our retinas.
Since your eyes can only perceive light, that would go for EVERYTHING you see. This is just a meaningless technicality that doesn't add anything to the discussion. With instrumentation, we can confirm that they are stars, down to exactly what their elemental compositions are and how many planets are circling them.

I'm not a flat earther, just stating that what you said wasn't correct and didn't disprove the person, because the human eye does in fact have a limit on how far it can see. While it can pick up light from such distant objects, that is because those objects emitted light which then traveled across the universe until it reached Earth. We are not actually seeing those objects, merely the light forming an image of them as they once were. The same is true for Telescopes.

I don't know where this photo was actually taken, but the "foot" of the mountain is very obviously obscured by the dark hill in the foreground.

Also, having actually lived in the western United States, I really, really doubt that Denali is 165 miles away from the photo location, again, wherever the photo was taken from. The air is rarely clear enough to see farther than about 30 miles, and mountains at that distance do not appear very tall.

The Red Spot corresponds to a planetary spherical geometrical degree point which throughout the solar system often feature anomalies

On Mars: the "vast" Olympus Mons shield cone volcano is at 19.5 degrees.

On Jupiter: the "red spot" which is an obvious vortex is at 19.5 degrees.

Mauna Loa, Hawaii (19 degrees 28 minutes N, 155 degrees 37 minutes W) The largest shield volcano is at 19.6 degrees north. This is Mauna-Kea volcano on the island of Hawaii.
Mexico City, Mexico (19 degrees 23 minutes N, 99 degrees 10 minutes W)

The Pyramid of the Sun at Teotihuacan is at 19.6 degrees north.

Also the Bermuda Triangle

On Neptune: in 1986 Voyager II discovered a similar spot at 19.5 degrees north.

Based on these conclusions, my theory is that these points on planets are potentially natural star gates due to an intersection of magnetic energies which have patterns that traverse a planetary sphere. Therefore as well, you might find aliens, perhaps some sign of intelligent development if you're lucky, however since it's a storm, I would assume in theory that potentially a highly advanced species would merely utilize the magnetic energies of the storm itself as a star gate

Also what you see is light particles that reflect off the earth, those are slowed down somewhat, and will follow the curvature of the earth a little bit due to gravitational pull.
Much like how light bends around black holes and objects in space.
>>
>>133144045
Yes, which I'm too lazy too calculate right now since it's a bit harder than simple trig but you are correct.

The effect of gravitational pull is negligible though, I would assume (definitely not noticeable on this photo).

Actually, after reading that again, the light *refracts* it does not *reflect*. Refraction is the bending of light as it goes through different mediums (different air temperatures already cause this effect very notably over long distances).

Reflection does play a part but it does not so much help to 'bend' the light as much as just reflect off the sea, after which it does then get bent through the air.

Black holes, and even to a degree stars can bend light. Even the earth can, but on such short distances, the effect would be close to nill.

Just an FYI, if you were interested in that.

There is a programm called Stellarium. You can type the place where you live and see the sky and how it changes. There is other program called Space Engine, you can also do the same there and even reverse time or speed it up, watch from different angles from space and from the Moon, how the light would work if the Moon would be in some position, how would it reflect the light and in what are it would be visible. It all works bro, this cycle is everywhere for all the time we live here, we can even make computer simulations that make it work

Don't even need that explanation. If that picture is from one of those 100,000 feet balloons (30 km up) you wouldn't see any notable curvature. Any curvature that would be visible would be insignificantly small at that height, not to mention hard to spot due to the 'flatness' due to your height above everything below you.

The us flat earth cults founder

"Like his predecessor, Voliva increasingly developed an overtly lavish lifestyle, amassing a $5m personal fortune by 1927, which began to alienate his followers, especially after the hardships brought on by the Great Depression, which forced Zion Industries into bankruptcy. In 1935 Voliva tried to revive the flagging fortunes of the church by instituting the annual Zion Passion Play, along the lines of the famous one in Oberammergau. However, in 1937, a disgruntled employee set ablaze the church's huge Shiloh Tabernacle, where the play took place. Shortly thereafter, Voliva was forced into personal bankruptcy and he was reduced to being the honorary president of Zion Industries. The governance of the city reverted to the independents and the new authorities selected a globe for the compulsory car sticker that he was forced to put on his car. He spent most of his time in Florida where he hoped to establish another fundamentalist colony, but in 1942 after being diagnosed with terminal cancer, Voliva made a tearful public confession to his followers that he had misappropriated church funds for his personal use and committed other misdeeds. Shortly thereafter on October 11, 1942 he died (he had previously stated that he would live to 120 due to his diet of Brazil nuts and buttermilk), and the church all but dissolved. A small remnant was reorganized under the leadership of Michael Mintern. It was later renamed to "Christ Community Church."

"From 1914, he gained nationwide notoriety by his vigorous advocacy of flat earth doctrine. He offered a widely publicized $5000 challenge for anyone to disprove flat earth theory. The church schools in Zion taught the flat earth doctrine. In 1923 he became the first evangelical preacher in the world to own his own radio station, which could be heard as far away as Australia. His radio station broadcast his diatribes against round earth astronomy, and the evils of evolution."

Pathetic.

The curvature would be extremely noticeable at 100,000 ft. Are you really that retarded that you believe it pulsing be noticeable?
>>
>>133149667
Yes this is a wide angle lens, and therefore does not represent reality. But it is not done to trick people into thinking the earth is round, it's just done to give the viewers the maximum amount of visible footage.

They don't even try to hide it, on the ground it looks just as round as high up which is exactly what you would expect to find at that height.

Lol, no. My friend helped to make the satellite and his University put satellite in orbit. He recieves its telemetry or in other words data from the satellite and its instrument every day in the exact moment the satellite passes over his head. And there are hundreds of other satellite companies that exist in the world who do the same. You can't decieve them, because they can also buy recievers where they want and track their satellites with radars and other instruments. There is no moment when some higher forces can trick them

We also talked with ISS when it was passing over our head.

you mean data from a tower

Nigger, the earth has a circumference of 6370 km, 30 km (a .47% increase in height above the earth middle point) above the surface is nothing.

Your argument is invalid, take a physics course or even a basic trigonometry course.

of course, if you don't buy these figures there is nothing I can convince you with on 4chan. You could do experiments to prove it but you never will. Instead, you just do your job like any other normal human being and never look into the deeper problems in physics.

I don't hold it against you, but to be honest people have known the earth was round for thousands of years so you might just want to catch up.
>>
>>133149988
Yet in all the actual pictures of space we never see any satellites in the background. They should be easily seen reflecting the suns light

It's because all the components that go up need to be rad hardened, especially when they go to places like Jupiter where there is extreme radiation. They can't just send a DSLR, you know...

nope, he can buy any satellite dish in the world online and he would recieve the same signal from anywhere in the world. The rocket company just puts satellite in orbit and they don't have any idea what satellite we are using, or what dish we are using where, how, when. Nothing. The rocket company has to put our satellite into the ordered orbit and when its done, they get their money and we don't have any contacts with them, only with our satellite directly over our head.

Yeah, there's no getting through to you, or any of you guys for that matter, through an image board. If everything proving you wrong is photoshop and nothing you post is photoshop, you will never be convinced by the obvious data. Especially since none of you will take the effort to go to these places by yourself and see it with your own eyes you will always stay convinced of your flat earth bullshit.

Suddenly everybody got lazy despite eons of technological advancements in many areas (some got stagnant but come on). Lazy is not an argument, states pour substantial sums in self-promotion: organising olimpics and shit. The only reasonable agrument I can see is that USA is not letting others do it. Like they shut down thorium reacors that were supposedly running and very safe. Except of course the possibility that Kubrick was involved. Frankly I'm quite convinced that was the case - any analysis of "The Shining".

Who could go? Japs and EU won't because they are in the same team - watch the central bankers taking turns printing money, the "currency war" it is not. Chinese did some spacewalks but they had bubbles of air moving in those tapes - it was a training pool. That leaves Russia, and I think they are more prudent than that. And again maybe they can't, maybe exposing the lie is impossible for some reason, like you can't talk 20th century history in most of the world without landing in prison.
>>
>>133150473
you understand the distances in space? Anywhere where you can see it is already dangerous because of the collisions, so the satellites deliberatelly put into orbits far from the ISS.
And if you want to see satellite in space look at this focking thing.

We're not fighting the big communist boogeyman.
No matter what people will have you believe the space race was entirely to beat the USSR. There was no desire for exploration no matter what Kennedy said. We have no race to win so there is no point in investing in missions to other planetoids for the hell of it.

1. Take your fucking rifle and go to one of the equatorial shitholes near you.

The flat earther meme started as a mirror to the global warming craze. Ever notice how the arguments tend to go the same way?
>look at this picture. See no curve!
>look at this graph. See it's a large number!
Similar failures in maintaining the rigorous scientific ideals, and presented in similar manners. Both specifically aimed at science illiterates.

>>133153278
>or Newton's first law don't real
You amuse me, peasant.

Gravity makes the bullet drop faster than the earth curves underneath it so you're really not making a good case here. You could, however, do an experiment with a bigger projectile and a bigger speed, launch it up higher into the air and see that the curvature does matter. But a rifle won't do.
