America did well in the past because of frontierism, which is no longer possible.

It's a fact, America has begun to embrace supportism in its most destructive form and be devoured by global capitalism because exponential growth is no longer possible. Do you really think a man like Bernie Sanders could've done so well in the US elections 50 years ago? Socialism is a cancer that threatens us all because of global capitalism and the nihilism brought on by modernity.

No libertarian, you wouldn't be one of the rich business men. You would most likely be one of the child laborers they make fix machinery because your hands are so small.
Unregulated free market is a paradox. The free market functions when the consumer is able to choose which business they use so that shitty or abusive oranizations have to change their ways or lose their business.
This can only happen if the consumer stays informed about what happens behind the scenes of the business, and has alternative options for certain product/service (so no monopolies). These 2 essential parts of a functional free market can only exist with some minimal form of state regulation.

Capitalism is limited by natural resources and living space, which we're running out of. As for thorium, you can update me on that when the technology's developed.
Don't you see the shift towards supportism in the youth? I wouldn't be surprised if countries like Germany and Britain become socialist hellholes like Venezuela in 10-15 years. People on /pol/ are too blindsided by the echo chamber. Hitchens is right, this country probably is doomed.
