I'm reading a philosophy book, From Socrates to Sartre. I had to read it for a class and never finished it but I have a weird OCD where I can't read another book unless I finish what I already read so I haven't been reading much lately.

I read your pic related 2 years ago, are you planning on reading the Illiad? I've been meaning to get a hold of the Odyssey before I forget everything that happened from the Illiad

Yes, I'm planning on reading both, with the ultimate plan on having a better grasp on Plato and Aristotle. I'm following this.

Mircea Eliade, The Sacred & the Profane.

Very interesting, concise. Good stuff.

He was not a Christian, so far as I know, but he has a very interesting (and I think accurate) take on sacred space and sacred time in a Christian context. I'm speaking from a Catholic perspective; low-church (non-liturgical) Protestants have a more desacralized (sometimes completely desacralized) view of space (e.g., church buildings) and time (e.g., the liturgical calendar).

Nothing fancy.
I am on a journey to change myself. If I read 20 pages per nigth I would read at least two books of 300 pages per month, oe three of 200 pages like these ones.
I'm a very lazy person, but tha is going to change.
