It is. Evoloution can be proved by watching creatures with a quick life cycle, like common bacteria.

Look at the superbug for example. It's an infection that occasionally pops up in hospitals, ans it's very nasty, and hard to treat too. This is because it's resistant to most medicines, but it wasn't always like this. It grew to be more and more resistant over time. It evolved to combat every drug, ans every procedure thrown at it.

Now doctors fear a day that may come where we're thrown back to the days where there is no real practical medicine. Not just because of the superbug in itself, but a whole bunch of common human illnesses have been observed to start resisting medicines. They have evolved.
