What can we do about the ((1 post)) problem?

Implement a policy like on the porn boards where you need to make an arbitrary number of posts after making a thread or you get a ban. It's not currently, but said system could be automated where after a certain number of posts in the thread if you haven't hit the number of required you get a ban. This obviously doesn't prevent shitposting but it does prevent low effort shitposting.
i mean..
Get rid of the newfags who keep responding to bait threads
nothing but decent bait

They'd just reply with bots. Many of them are posted by bots in the first place.

fuckin' hell...I took the bait...

If they want to write out unique replies to responses in the thread then they're not saving any time using bots. If they use canned responses then it's trivial to report them because they won't actually be engaging in any kind of discussion. As I said it's not a perfect solution but it's better than what we have now.

I could give an idea, but then bots will get ahead of time and fix it before the effort is even in place (yes, it's not a permanent solution, but it will take time to update the bots to the new game).
Even this thread has 1post by OP, so it could be bait itself. I'm still reluctant to release my idea here and now, but if there is enough interest, I can think about working on it.

Report is all one can do. I'm the only one reporting shit as far as I can tell.
Sage or report spam. Like this thread.
For newfags, notice that spammers necessarily over-depend on certain stock phrases and structures, and be militant about saging and reporting them. No thread with a one-line OP could possibly be a "high quality of posting." Spammers rely on one-line writing post prompts to be able to quickly make many threads. They tend to make that one line a question, often a provocative one, or an unanswerably broad one, or a clearly wrong one, to guarantee replies.
Thus, questionthreads are clearly against the rules, and only ever used by enemies of the board. Sage all questionthreads (unless it's a well-developed idea properly discussing something, in which case it's not a questionthread).
Notice I did not lay out an ideological criterion.
Hey fags, this is a 1 post by this ID thread.
