Do tourist stuff, don't try and "be with the locals" or whatever new age shit white people do to get the "authentic" experience.
Stick to the safe tourist stuff, don't stray off the well-beaten path. It's nice enough there, you're really not missing anything.
Also, unless it's brightly lit and populated, curfew at nightfall. Keep track of your belongings, lock your hotel door and stuff.
