General question: I'm orthodox and as we're all struggling in Western Europe and North America, what's your opinion on the following :: Do you consider it more important to unite the catholic churches from East and West before retaking societies or vice versa ? I know very well that "unification" - if possible at all - wouldn't be done in a matter of 50 or less years. Maybe more like 500 or 5000 kek. But just out of curiosity.
I personally think we should rather throw our asses together and work on society first, because working on the dogma is a matter for when we have peaceful times, socially speaking (and literally, considering the Middle East).

Protestant here leaning toward becoming a Catholic. What's with RCIA? I haven't seen another religious denomination that requires you to take classes. Can you accelerate through them if you already have a background knowledge of Catholic teachings and history or do you have to stay through for a whole liturgical season regardless?

Oh, okay. :D I would recommend you to watch some videos by apologetics on YouTube (like Bishop Sheen Fulton or Bishop Robert Barron).

If you want, you should check out 'Fundamentals of Catholic Dogma' by Ludwig Ott. It talks about the doctrines and traditions of the Church (along with their sources in Scripture. Maybe try to read the book by Pope Benedict first, though.

Will someone please convince me to become a Catholic? I'm kinda on the fence about it, cause I'd like a community to belong to and it'd be easier to explain my beliefs. I separated myself from my fellow Christians after seeing them for the cancerous, toxic frauds that they are and decided to focus on my relationship with God. And it seems to me that catholics focus more on ceremony and books than teaching how to have a relationship with God.

The best thing that I can recommend is to visit a church near you (can be found using: https://masstimes.org/) and talk to the priest. You can sign up for RCIA (Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults) which will allow you to learn more about the Church before being baptized/confirmed and you'll be able to become part of the community. :)

*Denial* is probably a better word. Voris should've just come out with his past struggles with homosexuality instead of letting himself be outed by Cardinal Dolan or whoever he picked a fight with. His videos always had the air of it about them anyway. He was too quick to anger, no real subtlety of thought or argument, and a hyperfocus on heterodoxy that bore the whiff of self righteousness. He's a good man who loves the Church I'm sure, and I don't mean to accuse or judge the guy, but he always seemed to labor under those issues peculiar to recovering homosexuals.
