BC is fucked - years of spruce beetles killing trees have left a huge fireload in the forests. It's been known for a long time this was a time bomb, and now a hot, dry summer has lit the fuse.

Spruce beetles are in Northen BC. We have fires like this every year, its just especially bad this year.
