Pic related is kind of sad...if you have to change yourself, the very being of who you are, so hard all for the goal of being with a more affluent man who naturally doesn't want you, then clearly it was never "meant to be". Like the woman in this would-be scenario is accepting the man for who he is, good job, wealthy, looks healthy and overall good (assumptions, all of them) and yet the woman herself and likely the man, too, are not accepting of the woman in this scenario, and thus the woman has chosen to change herself.

Yet not for betterment of herself out of free will, rather because she is selfishly trying to get her own personal gain in the financial regard after getting married. People are selfish in general, yet this sort of selfishness is in a class of its own. Sad!

Altogether, you should not have to change who you are for better or for worse (at least, in appearance) if only your goal is to attract another. Just be yourself, for once, even. Try being yourself, not someone else, sooner or later, someone will like you for who you are.
