I suppose the corruption aspect of my post was exaggerated too much. I meant it more in a sense that local politicians need to understand how things work federally. Also - more importantly - the local leadership should be someone the federals trust and have confidence in, otherwise they'll try to usurp the local governance and you'll just have the same system that you have now, but with the decision-makers not even residing locally.

Among Flemish nationalists it's split about 50/50 with going fully independent or joining the Netherlands.
Among the Dutch it wouldn't even be a question, if asked, 80% would say yes, and the 20% would be tricked by Jews saying it'll cost us money because we make more per capita.

Prior to the war, 20% of Belgium voted for fascist parties (VNV/Rexist) and the Flemish fascists were all exclusively pro-Dietsland (being union with the Netherlands.)
Since the war however, independence took over the main focus. If parties discuss breaking Belgium, they almost always talk about independence, not about union with the Netherlands.

In my personal opinion, Wallonians are just misguided Dutch people. They're ethnically mostly Dutch and their children should be abducted and raised as Dutch, whilst Flemish and Dutch colonise their land.

The PVV is openly pro-union, but it's not even part of the party program.

The only political party in the Netherlands that has union with Flanders on its program is the NVU, a pseudo-fascist party that has a strong WN 1.0 feel to it.

If you talk about it you'll be considered a right wing extremist. I don't see it happening unless a real right wing party wins, and currently only the PVV would actually carry it through, as the FvD probably wouldn't care enough and would be convinced not to by some economic arguments, as if that's all that matters.
