Have you been keeping up with the protesters chimping out in Hamburg /pol/?
For some reason most poltical protesters have no fucking clue whatsoever. It might be because they are left leaning and haven't actually had a proper fight in their lives, or it might just be because they are ignorant of some really basic facts.
First up, the popo have two roles. First is general policing. Not relevant here. Second is riot duty. That's the bit we are discussing here.
Riot cops are trained in basic warfare. They wear armour and carry weapons.
Most protesters walk around in a daze and try to fight men in armour with either their bare fists or with those flimsy sticks they use for mounting their placards.
Then the protesters moan when the riot popo use their weapons to beat shit out of them. You've heard the expression "don't bring a knife to a gun fight"? Well don't bring stupid to what is a battlefield in which one side is wearing armour and using weapons.

Most protesters don't even bother to check out ahead of time what the 'valuable targets' are in terms of buildings. All they want to do is smash a few McDonald's windows and then they think they have struck a major blow for whatever shitbrained cause they think they are supporting.

Morons. No-one knew or gave a shit about whatever nazi nonsense was in their heads before they did it, so it ain't any wonder the public just thinks they are stupid bonkers wankers.
You only have to look at how the media and politicians work to hide the truth about Islamic terrorists from the public to see that some fella coming out of nowhere to deliver their own 'vigilante justice' is never going to catch the public mood.
