We wuz satellite designers.

Good for them
>>
>>132856975
Sattelite capabilities plox?
>>
>>132856975
I'm not going to bother looking up the article.
They more than likely sent it up with someone else's rocket.
It's only a matter of paying for it. I guess that's an achievement in africa.
>>
>finish lego type pre-assembled satellite they bought on amazon
>charter a rocket that had some cargo space left next to waste disposal unit
WE
>>
>>132856975
So now nigger junk is cluttering up space. Typical.
>>
Ghana is a semi developed nation, as is south Africa and Nigeria to a lesser extent.
>>
>>132856975
Are they asking money to the martians?
>>
Only over half a century behind whites and even then, using our theories and technology.
>>
>>132856975
Did they attach a helium balloon to a scale model?
>>
>It received support from the Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA).
>The satellite will be used to monitor Ghana's coastline for mapping purposes

They have to get the Japs to put a watermelon covered in tin foil into space just so they can make their own maps?
>>
>>132856975
two chicken bones and rocket battery
>>
>>132856975
Why do black scientists always look like regular niggers dressed up for Halloween.
>>
Its a cubesat. we build them in school and do launch testing in TX every year.
>>
>>132857879
How much do they cost? Because Ghana spent $50,000 on theirs.
>>
Jesus fuck you guys are bitter. What is their satellite a personal insult to you?
>>
>>132856975
It's not "we wuz satellite designers" though is it. They literally ARE satellite designers.

What have you done with your pathetic life outside sitting in your mothers basement making bitter troll posts about black folk's achievements?

Get a life.
>>
>>132856975

Don't fuck with native ghanan's, they should be celebrated for this. They are one of the coolest majority black countries, and they have a very western social culture and very progressive art and music.

They are not 'Kangz' and whatever shit gets spouted by protestors on American TV. Legit and decent African countries shouldn't be viewed through that stained lense.

Never met a native ghanan I didn't like, if they weren't so, well, small and non imposing I would like to see them be an actual world power. They're the types I'd like to keep around.
>>
I remember when Korea "accomplished" the same miraculous feat in the early 90s. The "astonishing national achievement" of foreigners designing and supervising the build of the nation's first satellite, one that was launched on a French rocket. Let's name it Our Star and proclaim we've joined the ranks of the advanced space exploring nations. We've earned it.
>>
>>132856975
/pol/'s next target?
>>
>>132856975
that's actually pretty cool
>>
>>132857991
welcome to /pol/ friend now get the fuck out
>>
>>132856975
ESTCube-1 is the first Estonian satellite and first satellite in the world to attempt to use an electric solar wind sail (E-sail). It was launched on 7 May 2013
Ghana/Population
27.41 million (2015)
Estonia/Population
1.312 million (2015)

So 27 niggers=1white?
>>
I wonder if the triggered autists in this thread realize the irony in automatically bitching at a certain demographic no matter the context or situation. It's almost like you're as bad as SJW's who reflexively get triggered by straight white men
>>
>>132856975
If North Korea (literal fucking communists) did something before your country did, you have a problem.
>>
>>132857850
Because you're a racist.
>>
>>132857115
this
atleast they're trying. Not their fault that it gets overhyped by some cucks
>>
>>132857334
>what are cubesats
there's lots of instruments that can fit on a 10x10 or 10x30 cubesat , no sense in reinventing the wheel when there's a cheap satellite bus that has been proven to work that you can attach your payload to .
most satelites launched these days are "pre-assembled satellite they bought on amazon" with some components 10-20 years old since satellite companies value components with lots of space hours then shiny new shit .
>>
>>132856975
a balloon with a digital camera does not a satellite make
>>
>>132857355
cubesats are usually in really low fast decaying orbits that dont clutter space because most of them dont have their own propulsion and cant go graveyard orbit\deorbit on their own .
they also use magnetotorquers for attitude control so they'd be uncontrollably spinning around in any orbit which make them 'junk'
>>
>>132859051
All these guys talking shit about them, but its good that africa develops, maybe they will stop coming to europe

It's not a testament to Ghana's science, but rather economic progress because having your own satellites allows you to move on to the next level - assuming they actually have infrastructure on ground to exploit the satellate.

Anyone can send a box into space on a chartered launch
