I carry a yawara hidden in my bag. When I'm walking in dodgy areas I keep it in my waistband.

if you want a gun. you need to have a 1 year long training, then get 5 different permits, and renew them every year. and you need a attend a training every 1/4 year too. then when you have one its next to impossible to acquire ammunition.
