Why are Americans such savages? The idea of faking distress so that you can ROB good Samaritans is downright evil.

>On July 6, 2017, the St. Landry Parish [Louisiana] Sheriff's Detective Section arrested Davinus Kennerson and Vontrail Derousseaux for robbing a driver who had stopped to render aid to them, according to Major Eddie Thibodeaux, spokesman for the sheriff's office.

>On May 29, 2017, the victim stopped his vehicle on Carrington Place in St. Landry Parish because an old truck was flashing its lights at him, stated Thibodeaux. Once the victim stopped to see if he could assist the occupants, one of the men who was wearing a bandanna around his face exited the truck with a pistol and ordered him to the ground. The victim stated another man, also wearing a bandanna around his face, exited the truck and stole the victim's wallet, cell phone, laptop and a flashlight. The victim was then ordered to get up and run away, according to the spokesman.

>"Citizens should always be aware that at anytime you could be a victim of a crime," said Sheriff Bobby Guidroz.. " In this case, the driver was trying to assist what he believed to be a stranded motorist and was robbed.
