The way I see it, Boomers had both Gen X and millennials. Some were born in one era, and others the latter. The group think mentality in both generations is pretty observable though. You of course have those born at the mid part of both that retain qualities of both.

For instance, many of the last of Gen X grew up at the birth of the computer tech age and were very independent and moved out young getting both the Boomer qualities while also getting the tech qualities of millennials.
