to be a monarchist in the contemporary era is to be a critic of representative, elective democracy from a rightist, traditionalist perspective.
Therefore, it's not about designing some hypothetical system of government or social organisation (a la anarchism), but rather to cast a critical eye on liberal democracy as well as leftist/Marxist ideologies.
The first step is to realise that democracy is just another leftist ideology, and that it's primary, long-term impact has been to weaken the power and self-determination of Europeans.
