Is that dumb to want? If you work 120-130 hours per month, your wage should be enough to cover housing, food, clothing, medicine, etc. Sure, millennials also whine about wages and then go and change their phone yearly and spend money on stupid garage.. but still, the world, specially 1st world countries, are advanced enough where working full-time should be enough to survive with commodity.

Historically minimum wage jobs have been transitory positions where individuals did not intend to stay for the long term.

You have to keep in mind that the average workweek in the US is down to ~34 hours per week. The threat of rising wage pressures mean employers will increasingly turn to automation or other cost cutting.

Minimum wage jobs will never provide a living wage for a household.

Because fewer and fewer well paying jobs are available to people going into their early 30s, so they have to retain entry level positions as adults. In a previous generation this wouis not be happening, but when you sell your future generations prosperity to immigrants for immediate profits, then you end up with what you see today.
