My father and I enjoy listening to Power Talk and other Republican media. I know true Republicanism isn't based on hate, racism, and sexism, but my Dad seems to edge closer to that stuff. How do I speak with him about it before he becomes the Republican the Left thinks we all are?

I've have taken into consideration that he's had more experience and that's why he's like that, but my mother is the same age as him, but she has what I perceive to be the correct form of Republicanism.
