Let's actually analyze this scene. Anderson goes on and on about the trials faced by the black community and attributes it to racism in America. He goes on to explain how Trump is the worst thing to happen to black people since Apartheid. His character, is an upper-middle class black person. His own existence defeats everything he's saying. Not to mention, if he wants to see change in the black community, why doesn't he help it? This whole, speaking on behalf of an entire race shit, is what got Trump elected in the first place. Plus, did everyone forget the 8 years prior to Trump? If a country had systemic racism against blacks, why was a black man president for two terms? Why is the message being relayed here, is that black people need someone else to change things for the better. They're free, that comes with responsibility.
