This doesn't surprise me. Liberals are now the party of the wealthy. The wealthy, detached, "enlightened" few who want to force their opinions on everyone...so long as they themselves have no stake in the outcome. They sit up at 30,000 feet and see the rest of us as chess pieces to be manipulated. They love minorities in theory, though not in practice. They love expensive green energy for everyone else, but put those windmills on someone else property. They love public education, but would NEVER send their kids to a public school. The list goes on and on.

The conservatives have their share of wealthy folks too, but they're not actively trying to change the face and ideals of the country.
