Who exactly are syrian rebels? What are they fighting for and why do most western states support them? Would a government led by Syrian rebels actually be better than the one led by Assad? I'm not convinced.

Islamists.
>What are they fighting for
Sharia state.
>why do most western states support them?
To get rid of anti-Israel, anti-Saudi and anti-NATO Assad.
>Would a government led by Syrian rebels actually be better than the one led by Assad?

that's exactly what I thought. Do you know where I can find any sources to back it up?

Pipelines are a meme. When Jewmerica starts a war there are always 3 reason.
The public, clueless people believe this:
>muh XYZ is evil
The "economic", people who think they understand politics believe this:
>iraqi oil (which was never used), muh syrian pipelines (which belong to qatar)
The real reason:
>Petrodollar and Israel - debt and Jews

Back what up? The Rebels basically only consists of Ahrar al-Sham, and Jabhat al-Nusra, both are Islamists. Google their names and "sharia state", that's what they say in press statements. You can also find Jabhat al-Nusra admitting that the US directly supplied them with TOWs.
As for how it turned out for Libya, just google it. All of these things are very publicly available, it's not secret. The Jew Media just doesn't cover it, for obvious reasons.
