want to avoid being ripped off by beggars? its simple NEVER GIVE TO LARPERS the bigger the dog and pony act the higher the possibilty that person is a larper.
Examples of larping include:
Three card monte or similar games.
chalking the pavement.
any sort of performance such as human statues/silvermen.
looks like antifa/army fatigues/ prominent begging position.
All these are larps of professional beggers.
Real Homeless beggars:
Hat on ground or similar
won't be pushy about it.
will actually thank you for giving them cash.
