i dont think they know that themselves. they are basically doing what they think is best how weird that may sound. they are convinced that what they are doing is best for the future. they want to destroy every symbol of the old world, even our races.

they think that destroying everything that has been build since classical antiquity is going to be better for the future. i mean look at the very first settlements.
