Honestly my qualm with this would be the two slope roof when a flat roof would be a lot more fitting and I'd question the context it's placed in (how far away from the street it is, how the neighbor's homes look etc.). Other than that I'm okay with this kind of experimentation.

Look at modern Japanese architecture, they have laws that prevent structures from being closer than one meter to each others (because of earthquakes) so they have room to play with shapes and colors without having to worry too much about context. That's why you get nice looking houses there that don't seem out of place.
