Amen to this. Every city I've went to in the North Island excluding Napier has been a cesspool of degeneracy. For different reasons however.

I went to Wellington for the first time since I was born and knew its our hipster capital. But it really did take the cake, every menu mentioning gluten/vegen fucking meals.
