Watching the 2016 Birth of a Nation on HBO.
It sucks.
Standard, all the whites are bad and kill blacks for no reason and actively plot against niggers blah blah. It's completely unrealistic.
Slaves were serious investments and economic staples of the southern economy. They worked beside whites after slavery as sharecroppers.
I started thinking about how many documentaries or movies are out there that show the REAL historically accurate relationships between blacks and whites during american slavery.
Couldn't think of any.
Anyone know any FACTUALLY ACCURATE depictions of the American slave trade and slavery?

yeah i heard that too, dude this movie sucks, totally unrealistic dialogue, all the blacks are such "good guys" all the whites are evil. soft lilting music for whenever blacks are together, ominous music whenever there's whites around
