OP assumes reality is in a constant state of change. He asks about realities "mechanics", which inevitably forces us to think about reality in timeframes or, as I'd like to think about it, "chunks of the bigger picture". Pretty convinient since this is how we perceive reality.

But how does the integral part of these perceived "reality chunks" look like? What if Reality is just a static picture beyond our reach and we perceive nothing more than it's wobbly shadow?

The human spirit is metaphorically a fire burning in a causal sense. If you think about rainbows/the spectrum of reality and the fibonacci sequence then you start to understand the yin-yen of reality being experienced by life which is a totally natural byproduct of the current laws of physics in this universe which might be a descendant of previous multiverses with more primitive forms of physics. All white societies have tried to help us understand the nature of our struggle from a point of self awareness that is not found in equatorial climates due to the dopaminergic influence of the environment causing the silly humans to outbreed the forward thinking patriarchal tribes with strong character that had to move to a higher latitude just to insure peace for their children. When you find yourself on the hero's journey there are some things you can't exactly explain but understand on some level, and one of those things is reproducing to save your tribe because no one else can serve your archetypal role.
