Allow me to make the liberal argument. *Ahem*

Although I feel all guns should be banned, lets take a moment to unpack why these member of the community would choose to own firearms. First, the criteria for being on a terror "watch list" is frankly, problematic and obviously racist. With the growing threats and predujdcies toward people of muslim faith, many feel threated by people encouraged by Trump and Brexxit. Many need to be armed in order to feel safe and protect their new communities. I do feel that gun ownership is iheritly wrong, but I empathize with their need to feel safe. Lets not forget that most terror attacks are carried out by the victim countries own citizens, would we be upset if they where white? We are seeing a rise in hate crimes directed at mosques and muslim communities. Is it any real wonder these communities don't feel safe? We could be doing more to ensure that muslims feel safe and are able to spread their beautiful culture.
