What are you interested in reading about?
I'd start with some basic political philosophy like Plato's Republic, Aristotle's Politics, Machiavelli's The Prince.
Most (including myself) would recommend some right-wing books like Mein kempf, some Evola, perhaps some Junger.
There's other topics that are pretty /pol/ like race realism, which there are good books like The Bell Curve, A Troublesome Inheretence, Why Race Matters, and White Identity: Racial Consciousness in the 21st century.
It really kind of depends what you are looking for.

More stuff like this. What is the core message from those type of readings?

Well there's a bit much to really tl;dr for each of those.
In Plato's republic (at least from my recollection, I haven't opened my copy since 2011ish when I first read it) is that functional societies require strong leadership and direction as well as rationality and agency. He sets out an ideal for governence that is ruled more or less by a 'philosopher king' who is strong physically, stoic, and mentally compliant with platonic rational law. There's a lot more than that, but remember, this was prior to nearly any other sort of citizen organized societal structure. Everything western prior to that had essentially been theocratic monarchy/militaristic rule, so these ideas of rule legitimized by civic duty and ethnic expression rather than using divinity as a proxy for legitimizing power, were pretty revolutionary.
