Recently watched pic related. Not bad.
Can some Germanons chime in about this film? I read it was popular in Germany, and obviously the film is both an obvious satire of Hitler's rise to power, as well as thinly veiled warning about not repeating the same course during the recent migrant crisis.
Did any of you find that this movie somewhat reconciled any feelings of guilt you may have been taught to feel regarding Hitler's reign?
Did you or anyone you know walk away from the film agreeing with some of the real life or imaginary things the Hitler character does?
Do any of you wish Hitler would actually come back to life, become wildly popular, and guide your country through the migrant issue?
Also, /pol/ movie general. Give me some must-see selections.

It's a good movie.
It toed the funny line of Hitler being simultaneously attractive and repulsive really well in my opinion, especially as a German production.
Movies are degenerate
Read a book instead

Actually, you should read the book, if you liked the movie. It is a bit better and the End is a bit different.

Yeah that was well done for sure. You can tell the writers gave a lot of thought to keeping the audience on that thin line. Very good story telling.

Looks like there is an English version. Nice. Hopefully too much stuff isn't lost in translation.

It's quite amazing how the concept of an iron-willed ambitious leader is understood and (I think) desired by any person.
