This is also not actually true. When the Germans adopted the Roman seven day week, they merely translated the various gods across. They always were, they are rooted in late 19th century romanticism genre Guido von List and the Germanenorde. Basically bored richfags who dive a bit to deep into their fascination with ancient history. They are basically big children, something escapist about the whole thing, classic romantic escapism, hence why people like that are often also into fantasy and RPG.

It is normal for anyone fond of ancient history, especially of your own people, to start visualising a whole idealised society when, but the problem is that people never visualise the barbaric notions like eg. human sacrifice. A good reminder and reality check is to look at the worst bydlo opf your country, and imagine it 50x worse in 50x worse conditions.

Imagine being Adolf Hitler speaking to a crowd of people , or perhaps writing a book , or interview to a magazine or anything that conveys a message to rally political power behind the movement in order for it to succeed in political hegemony. Now imagine being in China (just an example , you could replace it with country x) for a second , you would have to change your ideology to accommodate to the Chinese people/volk by changing Christianity to Buddhism(again , religion x) in order to gain political momentum towards hegemony. In my view Hitler was quite adaptive with religiosity that he could project with propaganda and changing the way rituals are to be done. An example I could give you is the "blood flag" touching , or as a basic example changing the way people greet each other on the daily (Hitlergruß). Hitler's goal with religious rituals was to meme the best possible and most natural fitting religious zeitgeist for people of the Nazi Germany. He was a big fan of Nietzsche who was very fond of the idea of "survival of the fittest"/"the weak should fear the strong". Fittest almost never means the best(some exceptions) like the European peoples , they were best at war but they got subverted by ((them)) mostly to believe in suicide , meaning that even if they as in the European peoples are the strongest warriors they still are getting ravaged by literal moon worshipers.
