There are many institutions and projects run by the government that claim to help but many argue the government will always fail in carrying out their function.
Why can't simple things like helping the homeless not be executed successfully by our governments?

The homeless are almost always homeless because they're addicts or mentally ill. Their low IQ ensures that they will forever be fuckups. A tiny minority are homeless because of circumstances out of their control, and they get themselves out of it without government help.
Fighting homelessness is a bottomless money pit. Using money extorted from the public is criminal. That's why government should leave it the fuck alone. Maybe physically remove hobos from cities, but that's about it.
