Neutral Milk Hotel sucks. Swans were good until their most recent iteration, and then they became just okay. Music sung by a guy who sounds like he'd curl up into a ball during a fight should be banned. That rule alone nullifies /mu/'s entire favorites list.

ITAOTS is probably the most overrated album ever made, but it's easily a solid 8 if you listen to it without letting the hype get to you.
Two Headed Boy and Holland 1945 are standouts for me.
