Well, define "Impersonation." Are you pretending to be someone famous or are you just using a fake name? Because both are very different.
There's nothing wrong with showing up to an interview with a fake name. It's just their problem for not doing a check to see if you're legit first.

That's completely fine. It's not illegal unless you get money or services from them due to the impersonation. Then it becomes fraud.

However you won't find anything interesting. Being on /pol/ makes people psychotic. For every thousand "HAPPENING!!! Evil jewish refugee vampire pedophile!!!" threads perhaps one of them has some merit to it. And then it turns it the people involved arent jewish refugees or vampires.

So yeah, go ahead but what's going to happen is you'll do this "investigation" with some well meaning people who have different views from you. It'll be cringy as fuck because you'll be asking odd leading questions they don't understand and you'll remember it for years.
