It's our anthem during the glory years of liberation, before the commies came. They claim it's fascist, but it's living proof of the glory they destroyed. It refers to the generals who opposed russian foreign influence (which would be a questionable move now, but back then was just right) and the general who joined Hitler and overthrew the cucked conditions given to us after we lost WW1.

The song was sung during the time after we got liberated, when we formed an army in a matter of months and started absolutely massacring the Turks. When they were in their trenches, Bulgarians would run out of bullets, put this song on and rush them with bayonets - the famous "counterattack by knife". Half would die to machine gun fire and the rest would reach the trenches and just melee the Turks to death. After some time, Turks would start running when they heard this anthem and the following cry of Hurrah.
