Actually M8, that house is not a private residence. It is in fact owned by the state of New Jersey. It was bought along with a large tract of land in 1953. The land became the Island Beach State Park. The house became a secondary (state-owned) residence for the governor. So he closed the park during essentially a holiday weekend, and enjoyed the view with a few close friends. But I guess me having to do a 5 minute check on the facts to disprove your incorrect statement makes me the mong. Both the park and the house are owned by the state. Screw the public, close the park, but don't change Chris's weekend plans. Where is the solidarity, Bob?
