One thing I've noticed in some romance movies (guilty pleasure) that annoys me is that if a woman finds a guy who sweeps her off her feet and pays more attention to her than her current BF, the tone of the movie will make it seem ok for the chick to pursue this new fella while she's still with the BF.

Maybe its the "forbidden" aspect of it that makes it more enticing. Maybe our generation is more reckless and is more likely to accept passion over what is right. Maybe they tell themselves that this new guy is their "one true love" and the old guy wasnt, and this is the right guy FOR SURE GUYZ. Maybe society accepts some of the above reasons because some people would go for the more passionate partner if the opportunity arose.

In my opinion I feel that we're a generation that values love, but some of us have a warped sense of what you need to do to get it.

Its a pretty human feeling to be afraid of being alone. But because we're pressured to find our special someone, some women want to be absolutely sure they do, and read their shitty Cosmo pieces about the 6 Signs He's Not Into You and get scared that this guy might leave her or stop loving her. So they get needy and irrational and want to have those "Couple's Goals" they see posted all over Facebook and Instagram; when they see their guy doesnt do any of these things, they keep an eye out for a guy who seems like he might.
