I do it too. Increasing frequency over the last 2 years. Frequency spikes in winter when I'm inside/alone for longer periods. If my brain is churning out thoughts and I don't vocalize anything - eventually "nigger!" gets kicked out by my brain. Also when I'm concentrating too hard or struggling with a task like taking apart a car engine. I've been trying to notice before I blurt it out and turn it into something else. "Ni-ni-ni-ni-don't-say-it!" which turns it into a little jingle tune. My brother used to get upset about it and ask me what my problem was. Then I called him a nigger. Now no one in my family reacts when I do it. Like nothing happened. I tried to yell something else when the urge strikes me like "fuck" or "cunt" but nothing satisfies. "Nigger!"
