Why did Nazi-Germany invade Russia?
I know about Lebensrauw and all that, but is it not obvious that the invasion should have been postponed, to avoid the two fronts?

Russia was likely going to initiate some type of military action against at least Eastern Europe in the near future at the time.
There's no natural defensible border between German and Russian-occupied Poland at the time, nor is there really a good defensible border in Eastern Europe as a whole. Therefore whichever army attacked first was at a huge strategic advantage.
The USSR had a much larger population, larger total industrial capacity if utilized, and much more natural resources than Nazi Germany. This meant that Germany essentially had to strike first if it believed that war between the two countries was inevitable or that it would almost certainly lose in a confrontation.
