241 years ago the Declaration of Independence declared that "Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed, — That whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the Right of the People to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new Government"
The Democrats are not going to solve the issues of our time, of which Donald Trump is only the ugly spokesperson, not the root cause. We need a new Constitution, and a new Government, which is powerful enough to prevent rampant Monopolism and Oligarchy, but accountable to the People.
At the very least, if we are going to vote, we need a new party. Draftbernie.org is a step in the right direction, but ultimately the change we need will come from all of us, not Bernie Sanders.
It is time for a People's Revolution. Coordinated, systemic civil disobedience will be necessary. My personal belief is that a Student Loan Boycott is the most strategic way for our generation to resist the new American fascism. We have $1.3 trillion in leverage, everything to lose and the future to gain. Happy July 4th.
