Better than not having healthcare imo

What is the fucking point of gift cards anyway? Why not just give the person the money?

I suppose it stops them from spending it on drugs or some other vice, so maybe a healthcare gift card actually makes more sense than usual.

Basically they exist because some people think just giving money is not 'meaningful' enough, and that gifts should really be thoughtful or something, but have no fucking clue what to buy, and so get scammed into buying these things so they can feel like they gave something more personalized even though in every single case it has dont nothing but inconvenience the person they have given it to.

They are also used by some stores for refunds, instead of giving money back they give you a gift card, which has all the above issues.

The only legitimate use for gift cards ive seen, is that some stores will donate them to raffles or things. This is a pretty good form of advertising, give people free money but only that they can spend at your store.

You're more likely confusing gift cards with pre-paid cards, those have fees and expire. What idiot wouldn't use all their gift cards anyways?

I've only gotten a gift card as a refund if I don't have a receipt or it's to exchange an item.

But they can be annoying.
