Most of my country's literature is based in rural areas. I can tell you that life was way harder back then but happier . Yeah you'd most likely have a child on the way at 16 and you were basically born to work the fields but most everyone was friends with everyone and the majority of disputes would culminate in getting drunk drunk as fuck and laughing together at the sunday after church dance .
